English Learning Companion

I built a language-learning workflow around sentences I actually use in work and everyday conversations. Useful corrections become a continuing learning record instead of disappearing into a chat history.

Remember the pattern behind a correction

A lesson stores the original sentence, a correction, alternative phrasing and an explanation. Repeated mistakes become reusable rules, while vocabulary and more natural expressions accumulate alongside the dated lessons.

This gives the assistant a concrete memory to work with and gives me something I can revisit independently. The learning material comes from my own communication, making the next practice session relevant to situations I encounter.

Turn the lesson into listening practice

An evening workflow checks for a new lesson from that day. When one exists, it prepares a text recap and spoken revision: an English sentence followed by its Polish translation, synthesized with edge-tts and assembled with FFmpeg.

The schedule uses the Warsaw date and only prepares a recap when there is fresh lesson material. Keeping the source lesson separate from audio generation makes the workflow inspectable and lets the same material support reading, correction and listening.
