Technical Physics
One year of study · Programme not completed
I studied Technical Physics for one year of a four-year programme. A move to another city for family reasons led me to change direction and leave the programme; no degree was awarded.
A foundation in quantitative thinking
That year strengthened my grounding in mathematics and physics and introduced practical computing through Bash and Python coursework.
- Mathematics: working through abstract concepts and developing disciplined, quantitative problem-solving.
- Physics: using mathematical descriptions to reason about physical systems.
- Bash and Python: early experience with command-line work, scripting and expressing a solution in code.
It was an early connection between understanding how a system works and building the computational tools to investigate it, a perspective that continues to inform my engineering work.
